Enjoy our pristine lakes and rivers along with the quite solitude of Canada's Arctic. Canoeing on the Nanook River is a magical adventure that everyone should be able to experience. Wildlife abound along the banks. Drift quietly by muskox and caribou drinking from the edge. Tundra swans and snowy owls are seen often. The river is not a swift deep river and can only be canoed during July. We have canoes for rent or bring your own pak canoe. Our float planes pick you up in Cambridge Bay and take you to the drop off point in the river. We then pick you up at the end of your journey and bring you back to Cambridge Bay. The river usually takes about 10 to 15 days. Our rate is determined by the drop off and pick up points, call or email for a quote. You will be expected to supply your own camping gear (tents and sleeping bags, and food etc.) as well as a Satelite phone in case of emergencies. We also have other rivers in the area to canoe. Ask us about the other options available. For the experience of a lifetime on the Nanok or Surrey Rivers, please don't hesitate to contact us.
